Uh oh, hello...
I can see spider webs hanging around my blog. I haven't been here for a long time. But, here I am right now :) No no no, I am not going to blabber why I am off for a while. I have no right intention to spit reasons away. My blog is always be my shelter for everything, and my readers are my lovely guests.

I always love art, and I can draw some stuff. Art is kind of relaxation for the tension everyday, typically works like Prozac.  Art is a part of human civilization, it grew along the culture and environment. Art is not only statue, paintings, but due to the sophisticated technology, art could transform into anything.  From the high value art as Monalisa to the tiniest wedding decoration are parts of art.

As for me, I love photography, literature, and doodles.  I draw many things. But, these days I draw certain stuff again and again. Yes, I draw couple, the same couple with a dark brown hair. They are lovey-dovey. I draw them in many occasion. They are expressing my deepest feeling that I cannot show to other. I always have this soft childish feeling that is so girly and I cannot handle it. They are honest, and love each other. Let me introduce you to them :D

I draw them using canson paper, and watercolor.I have no basic art class formally, so pardon for some glitches. I feel, I love, and I imagine, that's how I draw :)

Marching March

Hello fellow bloggers :)

It's been a while, it's a very hectic month! My college is getting harder and raining assignments, my Illustration Cafe (a.k.a my online shop :p) is getting many orders, so I didn't have time to blog. But in this sacred holiday, I fill this holiday with pretty much productive things, especially blogging :D

By the way, talking about my online shop, it reaches 224 likes! :DD
I am so glad that people are starting to notice about this. This significant likes also bring more order, which a good thing for me. People are starting to know the important meaning of greeting card. Greeting card is meaningful, intimate, and also cute. By making custom greeting card for people, I listen to their story how meaningful the person is, their favourite, their hope, their story, and sometimes even their simple little things. These are making the greeting card more meaningful than the other present :)

I also make some new designs for the greeting card :D
I hope everyone is gonna like it.
By the way, this month Illustration Cafe join in SundayMarket at Sutos. I met new faces who were curious about these greeting card :D
Next month, I will join Cergamboree, a comic exhibition and workshop at IFI Surabaya. Beside, I am one of the artist of the exhibition, I am also going to bring Illustration Cafe with me there. So if you are in Surabaya, this is a very great event to attend :DD

Deary December

December is the last month in the year.
Some people wish to end the year and start a new one.

Other people wish to stay at the same year, the same routine.

New year has been making me excited all the time.

But here, the exciting is gone. I don't celebrate it anymore.

I wish I could celebrate New Year's Eve, but I just cannot.

In my deepest heart, I am always welcoming the year.

Christmas Party

A child order this to me. He wanted to have a special christmas card for the class. When I think about christmas, I always pictured a big christmas tree with presents and socks around it. Also sparkling baubles, ribbons, and stars. Just very beautiful :D

The next are birthday cards, each cards represented different personality and favourite. Some girls love fashion so much. Craving for branded bags, and sunnies. But some girls are enjoying their life with video game and drawing :D

The special christmas card for a far country friend. He is from Germany :D

Illustration Cafe : Ahoy Greetings Card

Hello guys!
Happy holiday, it's gonna be a long weekend for us (in Indonesia i mean :D )


Surely, last month is a very berry busy month! It's even hard for me to take a breath...
So many projects and events to attend. But I'm glad those were over.
I have told you about Sunday Market : Hippieland, right? It was such a grand event! I will post about sunday market later~

Now, I want to show you about my clients orders on greetings card. They have been keeping me happy and busy at the same time :D
I got a lot greetings card order, but I'll show you some of them with a background story of their greetings card xD

Mama Rose

 This is made for a lovely family to the mother. Their mom likes roses. 
That's why the greetings card is spoiled with red rose.
I made like a little rose field at the scrapbook page, and yeah she really likes it :D

Yaay, he is a choir boy. He looks cute with a hair like tintin!

He is a boy in SHS. He dreams to be in science school. 
He also likes vintage stuff, the gramophone is one of the stuff xD

Let me introduce you... the zombie boy was trying to express his eternal love for their eternal zombie relationship. The girl also loves him. Let us hope this relationship will be last immortal.

New Brand: Illustration Cafe

Scrapbook Greetings Card

Happy sunday morning guys :)

In this lovely weekend, I finished another order of greetings card. 

It was a birthday card also an anniversary card. The client contacted me to create a cute scrapbook theme card. So, I have a new idea, instead of putting pop up chibi head inside. 

The size is smaller with the previous card, but still cute :3

I make the cover with my latest illustration.I want the cover to be simple, but lovely :)

Inside of the card, you can see my other illustration. The picture is in emboss :D

Yep, under the attachment paper you will see letter and the scrapbook part :D

I made them with real bow, stickers, and pictures. 

I love how the scrapbook turned out, they are look so cute! XD

So, this is the whole greetings card. I kinda satisfied with the look.

I think I can achieve the little scrapbook theme in this greetings card, that's why I am excited~

The client told me that it was very cute too xD

Some people said, love starts on the very first of sight a.k.a love at first sight

The other said, love starts because of the daily matters

A few people also said that love is a story of fate

And more people nowadays tend to say that love is nothing, it's just a feeling, the simplest form of human existence.

 While God teaches us to love each other, not to spread hatred towards the other.

To me, love is something that will make your adrenaline pumps faster, your knees shakes, and butterflies in your stomach. It is an awkward funny warm feeling that scatter over us. I was thinking that it was one of the best thing in my life, until I finally realize that my life ain't fairytale. Yes, I have to struggle over hard times, until now. In my definition, in my current state of life, i would say love is a fate. A fate you have to struggle, you cannot end or run away from it. Irony, my love life is full of irony.

How about you? I hope, love is a pleasant feeling for you all :)

She was hand drawn and colored by Photosop. I am trying new styles, some of my friends said that it looked like vector art, which is NOT. I always dream that there is a lady guard us, and she is kind of Mother to us. In my mind, she has a cute face, turquoise hair, fancy little dress, surrounded by fireflies~

 I am still thinking that she is exist thou :)

Popping Up Chibi

Hello everyone, greetings :)
Holiday is a very beautiful day off to stretch our back! Happy holiday~

I had always wanted to create a pop up card, I have been making them in my mind some time. Just to keep an idea and gone, flew away like a dust. But now, those days were end.

I accomplish to build a very cute my own pop up card :D

Not my own actually, but I made them myself, with tears and sweat... 

Yeah they are my babies.

They were birthday cards for my bestfriend's bestfriend (you can check her here, she is a wonderful writer gitaartia.blogspot.com ). Such an honor to me, when she asked me to make birthday cards for her friend :')

The outline of the birthday card are the drawings, the creation, and VOILA! <3

 

 

 This is the cover of the birthday card, the paper was so beautiful! Trust me, it was a premium paper!!! Paper named by Java, and have a texture like the skin of orange with a perfect thickness. The name tag was printed in different paper, art paper 230gr, and GLOSSY! If anyone asked why did i chose the cover template as airmail old envelope, because they are vintage, and kinda giving me moments when i first got message. I want the recipient of this birthday card to have a joy of old days :)

And, flip it around, you will see a quote typed on old typewriter. Sadly, I don't take a picture of the back cover.

In the inside of birthday card, you will a cute chibi head popping up holding up the new age, around the chibi head there are cute stuffs which are relating to the recipient, such as medical stuffs because he studied in medicine faculty, and civil engineering stuffs because she studied there too :D The cute stuffs are embossed, so it is not boring. Then the last is the 'happy birthday' part. It was heaps of vintage papers, so they are embossed too. I added a ribbon and couple of shimmering stars to make it more colourful :)

They are all printed in premium paper too, art paper 230gr, so they are quite perfect and awesomely cute! :3

The process of the making itself it is not very difficult, but needs a bit hardwork but it was fun. I made them for about 3 days, in order to draw the chibis, brainstorming the design, printing, and putting them up together.

Thank God it was just in time! :D
